Yorulmaz was born in Hampstead, London and grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. She holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with minors in Computer Science and Film Studies from Columbia University, where she was also a member of Lance Weiler’s Digital Storytelling Laboratory. She currently works in NYC.

In her free time, she enjoys shooting on film and singing. She is a classically trained singer with Royal Academy of Music certifications, and has completed coursework at Guildhall Academy (London), Berklee School of Music (Valencia) and New York Film Academy (NYFA).
